For the second year in a row, Food and Travel Italia’s readers awarded a prize to our Palazzo Tafuri Boutique Hotel. This year our beautifully renovated 18th-century Palazzo was awarded INTERNATIONAL WINNER – a great honour for our team, especially after the Salento born Chef of Tafuri Restaurant, Antonio Capoccello, was awarded Chef Emergente in 2022, recognizing our Italian cuisine with a French touch.
The INTERNATIONAL WINNER recognition makes us very proud and is a great reward for our efforts. Our staff is truly international and a variety of languages are spoken so that guests from all over the world can enjoy their stay. And yet, we have kept our Salento origin. You can see this in every detail of our hotel. The beautiful spaces were created by local craftsmen, an Italian architect and a Belgian interior design consultant and project manager.
The French owners, Mr. and Mrs. d’Espous are renowned for their love of Italy, its food and its lifestyle, and paid tribute to this by creating this beautiful home away from home for travelers inspired by beauty, elegance, harmony and gourmet food. And our French Director, Athanase de Joussineau, is glad to warmly welcome you.
